Here at Splendere we breed Australian Shepherds that are sound both mentally and physically. We fully test our Aussies for structure and genetic well-being through OFA and Pawprint genetics to ensure we bring healthy puppies into this world that will have an amazing quality of life. Our goal at Splendere is to breed a well-rounded Australian Shepherd that adheres to the breed standard. We do not have a kennel so that our dogs are family and we can provide adequate care and attention to each one. We also do not believe in rehoming a dog after they have been retired from breeding. Family is forever!
When you get a Splendere Aussie, you get a lifelong friendship, mentorship, and guidance from us. We believe it is extremely important to have a good relationship with all our owners and are there for them throughout their Aussies lifetime (and longer!) |
Meet the Breeder

Ashley fell in love with dogs at an early age but more recently found her passion in owning and breeding Aussies. Before becoming more involved with her dogs, Ashley earned her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Florida and Master's of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Rollins College. She has always had a love for animals and more specifically Aussies! Through the years, she has gained multiple mentors and recently gotten into conformation showing. The term Splendere has multiple meanings for Ashley. For one, it is of Italian roots just like her! Also, in English it means "to shine", which gives credit to her original kennel name Rise and Shine. The change in kennel names starts a new line of Aussies that will be highly competitive in the show world in addition to continuing the Rise and Shine reputation of healthy, amazing companions.
